Here is a picture showing a tart, a jar of jam and my new honey-pot made from a local potter. This is life in Appalacia at its best! :) I was able to make 13 jars of Cherry jam, 6 jars of pie filling, 1 ugly pie, and 5 tarts. The best part is, there are thousands more cherries to pick, pit and jar, bake or eat! What am I to do? Here are the cherries I picked in 45 minutes Friday night:
